Costs : 40 min treatment :
$80 non ACC or $40 ACC for adult
$70 non ACC or $35 ACC for child

8.00 to 6.00 pm Mon – Fri except Wed (8-12)

 

ACC :
If you have had an accident we can process the paperwork at the clinic that will allow you ACC subsidised treatment. You can still be referred for treatment by a GP.

 

What to expect on your first visit

On your first visit you will be asked a detailed case history. This will include information about your symptoms and medical background.

After the case history I will assess your spine, posture, and pain free range of movement. You may be asked to take your top (not bra) off and stand with your back to me . It is not compulsory, but enables me to make a more accurate diagnosis If you feel uncomfortable with undressing, please discuss this with your Osteopath.

After the examination I will explain my diagnosis and treatment approach. In some instances I may be unable to make a diagnosis or offer assistance and you may be recommended to another treatment modality or referred for further investigations.

The treatment consists of a range of techniques including deep soft tissue massage, articulation, stretching of the joints and some manipulation. If at any time you don’t understand anything or find any of the techniques uncomfortable please mention it. I will endeavour to keep you informed as your treatment progresses.

24 to 48 hours after treatment you may experience some minor temporary discomfort or aggravation of your symptoms. This is a normal part of your body’s response to the treatment. It is common for the full benefit of treatment not to be felt for 2-3 days. If you are at all concerned please phone.
